Points

Turn on a layer to place it on any map; large sets (like every wind turbine) are drawn once you zoom in. Your own locations import with Import CSV / paste: include latitude and longitude columns (plus a name and any values).

Tracks & shapes

Your own tracks, routes, trails, waypoints and areas (hunting units, parcels): GPX (e.g. exported from Gaia GPS), KML / KMZ (Google Earth, onX, CalTopo) or GeoJSON. You can also drop files on the map. Lines show their length, tracks their climb; style each layer, label it, and it saves with Save.

Natural Earth data (public domain). Density shows more or fewer small lakes, rivers and names than the zoom level suggests. Names can be dragged and edited like other labels. Where a river is a region border, it is drawn along the border line itself, so detailed borders and rivers always agree.
