Pizza Rolls

Serves 6
Ingredients
  • 16 ounces Frozen Bread Dough thawed
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 4 ounces Pepperoni Slices
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 1/4 cup Butter melted
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the bread dough into a 12X18 rectangle.
  3. Spoon 1/4 cup of the pizza sauce onto the pizza dough and spread it out into an even layer leaving a border without sauce around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the sauce.
  5. Layer the pepperoni on top and top with the shredded mozzarella cheese in an even layer.
  6. Roll the rectangle length wise into a long log. Pinch the edges to seal the log close to keep it from unraveling while baking.
  7. Use a sharp knife to slice the dough into 16 equal rolls that are approximately 1-1 ½ inch thick.
  8. Place each of the rolls onto the baking sheet a cut side down.
  9. Mix together the melted butter with garlic salt until combined. Brush this mixture on top of rolls.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  11. Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese on top and bake for 3-5 more minutes until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.
  12. Let them cool for about 5 minutes. Serve with the remaining pizza sauce for dipping them into and enjoy!
