Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- high-temp oil (vegatable or avocado)
- taco Seasoning to taste
- 1 part Taco Bell ‘MILD’ sauce
- 2 parts Contadina Pizza Squeeze sauce
- 10 tortillas
- 8 ounces Shredded Cheddar and Monterey cheese
- 16 ounces Refried Beans (add water to thin)
- 2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
- 4 ounces Black olives
- 2 green onions
Directions
- Brown ground beef over medium-high heat, drain.
- Add taco seasoning to taste.
- Combine Taco Bell sauce and Pizza sauce
- Preheat oven to 325F (normal or convection mode)
- Wipe or spray oil on tortillas
- Bake tortillas for 8-10 minutes between two mesh cooling racks to keep tortillas flat.
- Tortillas will further dry when removed from the oven.
- Tortillas need to be dry, light, and crisp. Return to the oven if they aren't crisp after cooling.
- Top tortilla with refried beans, and taco meat (can be mixed, so the tortillas will stick together)
- Add another tortilla
- Add Mexican pizza sauce, cheese, and tomatoes.
- Place back in the oven for 2 mins to melt the cheese.
- Use a pizza cutter to slice the tortillas into quarters.
