Fleischkuechle
German-style
Serves 8
Ingredients
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 Cups Flour
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 lbs of ground beef
- 1 Medium onion minced
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cold water
Directions
- Mixed the dough ingredients together and separate into 8 ball.
- Roll each of the dough balls into circles and set aside.
- Mix the meat mixture together.
- Place the meat mixture on one half of the rolled out dough balls. Wet the outer seal of the dough so it will seal.
- Fold over the dough / meat mixture and seal. Crimping the edge with a fork. Set aside.
- Heat up your vegetable oil to 350F - 375F.
- Place 2 of the Fleischkuechles in the pan at once being careful not to crowd them while they fry.
- Fry until golden brown, turning once.
