Beer Cheese Dip

Wisconsin-style
Serves 6
Ingredients
  • 1 (8 oz.) packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, extra for garnish
  • ¼ cup of sour cream
  • 1 package of ranch salad dressing mix
  • 1 Tbsp dried onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp bacon bits
  • 2 Green onions
  • 10 chives
Directions
  1. Add the softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, sour cream, ranch packet, seasonings to a large bowl using a masher.
  2. Mix ingredients until fully combined and transfer into smaller serving dish.
  3. Garnish with shredded cheese, green onion, and chives.
  4. Serve with pretzels or fresh vegetables.
Notes

Adding beer tends to reduce the texture but doesn't seem to improve the taste.
